Apart from educating underprivileged children, the NGO works in the health sector by helping cancer patients, organising free eye camps and providing free treatment to children affected with severe facial deformities. Being Human has also initiated relief measures for Maharashtra’s drought-affected people and Kashmir’s flood victims.
And now, SpotboyE.com has it that Salman wants to launch even more initiatives. His latest idea is to organise free vacays for senior citizens who are suffering from mental disorders.
The Being Human team, we hear, will soon appoint a psychiatrist who will select deserving candidates. But why a free vacay?
Well, Salman thinks there’s nothing like a holiday to make you forget your worries. And who needs it more than these underprivileged senior citizens, who are troubled by the maladies of the mind?
A brilliant idea, we say. One needs no reason or season to spread happiness.
